They say find something that you are passionate about and then it won't seem like work. This is certainly true for us here at Bull Run 4x4. Bull Run 4x4 started out as an obsession and hobby for Mike Miller. He's been involved in offroading since he was a kid with both dirt bikes and ATVs. He's been building Jeeps and 4WD vehicles, performing maintenance on many brands of vehicles, assisting with other's custom builds and also owning/building many Jeeps of his own for nearly 20 years.
Bull Run 4x4 started out by helping neighbors in Mike's community in Haymarket, Virginia and still continues to this day. Mike realized that there was no shortage of stock Jeeps in his small town that needed lift kits and bigger tires.
Prior to starting Bull Run 4x4, Mike started, owned and then sold a managed IT services/cloud hosting company that specialized in white-glove IT support for Federal government contractors and hospital networks. His company received rave reviews about the level of support clients received day after day. This same model and methodology is what drives Mike to offer the same quality of support to his Jeep customers today. He's no stranger to business and no stranger to going the extra mile to make sure all of his customers are happy. It might seem strange that Mike transitioned from a white collar career to blue collar business but Mike feels that he is certainly staying true to his roots by spending time in the garage with his kids now as he often did as a child with his grandfather while growing up.
As of February 2020, Mike partnered with Dave Salman and has expanded into a new, much larger shop located at 3511 James Madison Hwy in Haymarket, Virginia. The new partnership will continue servicing Jeep and now 4WD truck customers in Haymarket, Manassas, Warrenton, Gainesville, Chantilly, Leesburg, Aldie, Centreville, Fairfax and beyond.
More recently Bull Run 4x4 has started community involvement such as sponsoring the 2017 Krawlin for C.O.P.S. event to benefit fallen Police Officers and their families at Rausch Creek Offroad Park as well as participating in other charity events that benefit police, fire, veterans and more!
